GOING GLOBAL
SFC has been working in Nicaragua since 2004 with John and Ledis Coronna. Throughout this time
they have changed the lives of many families, as well as the overall character of the community
of Sutiava, a village outside the city of Leon. This is a community of impoverished families
displaced and then abandoned by the Nicaraguan government following nationwide and persistent
catastrophes of both natural and human origins. In the last five years, SFC has firmly established
links with Hope for the Children Foundation out of NYC, to fund and complete their own projects
as well as fund the excellent work of John Coronna. We are more than pleased with the substantial
growth and success of these efforts in one of the poorest countries in the world, and we eagerly
look forward to continuing the work, not just in Nicaragua but throughout the world!
