The entire Surf for the Cause project is a response to a dream that demanded as much effort as it
did surfing! As it grows we remain undaunted by the extent of the need pervading our amiss yet
beautiful world. Our small capacity as an organization results in smaller, community-centered
projects, and our love and effort simultaneously expand our capacity and fill it to the brim. In
this type of growth, one that is concerned infinitely more with its interior authenticity and
character of love than with grand scale operation and mass efficiency, Surf for the Cause
continues to be permeated by a simple dream of helping others and changing the world, even if it
is "one wave at a time"! We have been dreaming of new ideas, new places, new people and new
